Emplify Health by Gundersen Boscobel, formerly Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital and Clinics, is hosting a Safe Sitter Essentials® class on June 5, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Gundersen Boscobel Area Hospital cafeteria.
Safe Sitter® prepares students in grades 5-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises.
Students may bring snacks and drink for during class time. A light snack will be provided.
The class fee is $45. Pre-register by June 2nd to secure your spot!
