Continually working to expand the range of services Motor-Ed provide, we are pleased to announce that we haven been accredited by the IRU in Switzerland as an Approved Training Institute. The IRU are the global leader in road transport policy and European legislation and have developed training programmes with their international partners including HSA Ireland. We are now offering training in Safe Loading & Cargo Securing, starting with our first open training day on Friday October 3rd with limited places available. The training syllabus involves classroom based theory and practical exercises performed on a loading platform, as can be seen in the photos.
Responsibility for safe loading is not just for the driver but for all involved in the transport delivery chain e.g. loaders, packers, supervisors, transport managers etc. Upon completion participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to secure loads safely, receiving a recognised certificate in Safe Loading & Cargo Securing.
Training can also be delivered at your site for larger groups.
