This course includes: Vehicular cycling classroom instruction, bicycle maintenance basics, bike handling skill drills, and a brief road ride to put the skills to work. Course material is useful for both recreational and commuting bicycle riders. The course is a prerequisite for more advanced courses, including the League Cycling Instructor (LCI) seminar to become a certified instructor.
The course (including outdoor segments) does not cancel for minor weather or drizzly rain. Attendees are expected to dress appropriately for the weather, bring their own well-tuned bicycle, and wear a bike helmet. For severe weather or thunderstorm we will reschedule the outdoor segments for another day that works for registrants.
Ages 14 and up. Participants under 18 years of age need a parent or guardian signature on the waiver form.
