While trans people are increasingly visible in both popular culture and in daily life, they still face severe discrimination, stigma and systemic inequality, which is why it is our time to help.!
You can safely drop off new socks and underwear, shoes, belts, new clothing in larger sizes, and other accessories at the front desk of the hotel, which will be distributed to the transgender community in Los Angeles, particularly to trans women of color. These donations will help gather gender-affirming wardrobe items to wear for job interviews, events, and everyday life. You can change someone’s life, donate today!
We invite our community to stop by anytime at our front desk between Monday, June 21st and the end of June.
The Trans Wellness Center (TWC) provides comprehensive resources and services for transgender and non-binary people under one roof. The 3,000-square-foot center is the first-of-its-kind in the United States, with six local organizations joining forces to create this new home for wellness. The TWC was conceived and created by community leaders and allies, honoring their lifelong dedication to raise awareness about the needs and the contributions of the transgender community.
Sofitel Los Angeles, a LGBTQIA+ friendly venue, is exclusively working with LGBT-owned and LGBT-friendly vendors and partners and is proud to support the Transgender community of Los Angeles.
