Join us for an insightful training on Safe and Savvy Social Media with BBB hosted in collaboration with the Carthage Chamber of Commerce and presented by the Better Business Bureau! Social media can be a great way to connect with your customers, but it's important to be aware of the risks that come with using social media. Pamela Hernandez, Regional Director for BBB – Springfield, will teach you how to be a safe and savvy social media user. About the speaker: Pamela Hernandez, Regional Director for BBB in Springfield, is an Ozarks native and a graduate of Missouri State University. She spent 15 years in the financial services industry, working in both consumer banking and operations project management, before pivoting to a career as a personal trainer and health coach and a small business owner. After retiring from the fitness industry, she joined BBB in 2022. As the Regional Director for BBB, Pamela plays a pivotal role in fostering trust and transparency in our local business community and educating consumers on how to make smart marketplace decisions.

• Spot Social Media Scams: Discover red flags, common scams to watch out for, and how to protect yourself from falling victim.
