SAE Chicago Collins Aerospace Tour
Join us for a tour of the Collins Aerospace facility in Rockford, IL. The event will include a tour of plant 6 including the Collins Wall of History, assembly, production testing and the development testing areas. Along the way various subject matter experts will speak on a variety of technologies including the Ram Air Turbine (RAT), airplane power systems, wind tunnel testing, production and assembly methods and advanced propulsion systems for reduced aircraft emissions. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited and RSVP is required.
Note: This tour is restricted to U.S. persons as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Attendees must complete all required registration fields and participation is subject to approval by Collins Aerospace.
This event qualifies for one Professional Development Hour (PDH).
