Katy cycled 3,500 miles around the coast of Britain to raise money and awareness of mental health. This wasn’t a solo mission, she asked people to join her “I want this to be a safe space for people to talk. For people who have someone to suicide, or were dealing with their own mental health struggles.”
Katy lost her dad to suicide in 2007 “ I found it very difficult to talk about it but this ride helped me so much, getting outdoors and movement combined with some powerful conversations was incredible.”
Of course, this trip wasn’t without its dramas but that’s all part of the
adventure!
