-More About This Event-
Building upon the energy an excitement generated from the music of Ashton Brooke Gill (ashtongill.com/music), national speaker, Cory Greenwood (corygreenwood.com), will share his story of how through his personal struggles—including his father's suicide and substance abuse—he came to understand the need for deep and sincere connections with others.
Studies show that suicide among youth is at an all-time high. Teens are struggling to find a sense of belonging. Now, more than ever, it is vitally important to empower and encourage youth to rise above their current circumstances. Your students will leave this assembly with a renewed self-image and the resilience to handle adversity and bullying. They will be empowered to take responsibility for the solution instead of focusing on the problem. This program WILL create a more positive and caring culture.
Students and their accompanying staff will engage in large and small group activities that will focus on:
-Finding a Trusted Adult
-One Choice Prevention
-Cory Greenwood Q&A
