Kicking off at 8:30 PM, this is your chance to catch three incredible acts – completely free of charge.We’re thrilled to present Rich Jones to open the evening. Known by day for crafting stunning JWJ Guitars right here in Shropshire, Rich steps into the spotlight to share his own impressive back catalogue. Moving from his earlier days rocking the South coast in loud rock and metal bands, Rich now delivers an intimate performance of his captivating original songs that’s not to be missed.
Next up, prepare for the unique sounds of Shropshire's own Pete Hubbard. This alt-country and folk rock artist blends the timeless appeal of classic country and folk legends like Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan with an edgy influence from his rock, punk, and metal roots. With rich vocals and meaningful lyrics straight from the land that made him, Pete's sound has already earned him BBC Introducing Featured Artist status with "Whiskey & Wine," and his single "The Man I'm Meant to Be" is out now – expect echoes of Tyler Childers meets The Lumineers.
Closing out the show will be the electrifying Sad Vacation. This UK-based Alternative Rock - Post Punk band promises a truly captivating performance. Fronted by Sandy Stanton, whose distinctive voice can swing from angelic to darkly compelling, and featuring Dan Hull (ex-Night Worker Revival) on guitar, alongside Daniel Robinson (Shallow Boys) on bass and Matt Banks (Human Stairs) on drums, their combined talent creates a rare magic and an unmistakable sound that you won't want to miss.

Alternative Rock - Post Punk Band from the UK.
Members consist of Sandy Stanton, an already fully realised act in his own right with one of the most distinctive voices and a solid guitarist, his delivery of musical goods and subject matter are always a surprise, sometimes on the darker side and other times beautiful and sentimental, some say the voice of an angel, some say one of the fallen kind.
Dan Hull accompanies them on guitar, former member of the alternative shoegaze power house that was "Night Worker Revival". Sandy and Dan have been writing together for many years, and when together in a room along with Daniel Robinson on bass guitar ("Shallow Boys") and Matt Banks on drums ("Human Stairs") there is a magic in the air that is rare, and a sound that is unmistakably no other than that produced by "Sad Vacation"

Pete Hubbard is a Shropshire based
alt-country and folk rock artist who draws
inspiration from classic country and folk
artists like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, John
Prine and Willy Nelson. Growing up, Pete
was exposed to the world of rock, punk and
metal music which has influenced his unique
and edgy style of Country. Born and raised
in the United Kingdom, Pete Hubbard is
reimagining the genre with his rich vocals
and meaningful lyrics straight from the
land that made him.
With his debut single “Whiskey & Wine” Pete
was named BBC Introducing Featured artist
in January 2025. This success is the driving
force that will see in several new releases
throughout 2025. Pete’s unique sound is
reminiscent of modern country and folk
artists like Tyler Childers, The Lumineers,
Jason Isbel and Mumford and Sons.
