Join us for an evening of Sad Ballads & Crazy Salads!For years, it's been a running joke that musician Rick Williams (Boiler House singers, Electric Timothy and Bagas Degol) and actor Elaine Claxton (TVs Black Mirror and Doc Martin) sing about nothing but drownings, murder, unrequited love, and grinding poverty—you know, all the fun stuff. They've been making beautiful, tragic music together for nearly two decades at various music sessions in Cornwall. Now, they've decided to bring that delightful dose of despair to the stage.
Rick and Elaine will weave together a wonderful collection of mainly miserable songs with readings by, or about, women who've made some truly out-of-the-ordinary choices—some wiser than others!
