Cynthia Abulafia draws on her lineage in Shakta Tantra, decades of non-dual study, and her own profound kundalini awakenings to map the complete spiritual process. She challenges the entrenched “transcendence bias” of patriarchal spirituality—the overemphasis on going up and out of the body toward stillness or detachment—by restoring embodiment and cyclical return as essential to awakening. In her telling, the Divine Feminine is not just a symbolic archetype! It’s a living, self-reflexive capacity for curiosity and reverence that is present in every human being, and critical for integrating transcendent states into embodied everyday life.
