About this Event
Smt Pratibha and Sri Abhinav Goswami invite you for a special coming-of-age ceremony of their son, Sri Nilesh Goswami on the special occasion of Upanayanam, marking the initiation of a Brahmacāri into higher learning that is in tune with the solarized rhythms of life.
During this ceremony, Nilesh Goswami will wear the sacred thread and take vows related to a special contemplative life invoking the meditation of Gāyatrī mantra. His sister Smt Kanu Goswami will be present by his side during this ceremony.
Following the sacred thread wearing rituals, Nilesh will be initiated on how to integrate spiritual practices related to the use of the Gāyatrī mantra during special junctures of the day, such as dawn, dusk and the highest point of Sun during the midday.
We welcome all lovers of Indic culture (Sanskriti) and Vedic wisdom to experience the power of this auspicious occasion which will be followed by ending with words of wisdom from Himalayan siddha monk, HH Swami Vidyadhishananda. The ceremony will conclude with a shared lunch.
We request all attendees to bless Sri Nilesh Goswami for his new higher learning and moral strength. Donation is optional.
