Kathak dancer Tarini Tripathi explores the connection with the divine through grace, rhythm, and spiritual awareness. Through Bulleh Shah, Kabir, Narsinh Mehta and Raskhan’s teachings explore our spiritual ties, using vivid metaphors to reflect on the journey of life. Rooted in this philosophy, ‘Sacred’ draws from the imagery of the body as a woven cloth, delving into the human experience, spiritual awareness, and the quest for the ‘Sacred’, symbolised by the rosary. Performed by Tarini Tripathi, a third-generation Kathak dancer trained under Guru Padma Sharma and Gauri Sharma Tripathi, this stunning showcase merges age-old legends with contemporary reflections.
