About this Event

Preservation advocate and founder of the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy, John Gomez takes us on a journey in our tour van into sacred Black spaces in Jersey City, including the Bergen Avenue church where the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. gave one of his final public speeches, and the Ocean Avenue landmark founded as New Jersey’s first Black Catholic parish. We will go inside several of these spaces where represenatives will dive deeper into their history.

At the end of this van tour attendees will have the option to join our Support Black Businesses Social at Lady G's Restaurant Bar & Grill.
