About this Event
Are you interested in experiencing some ancient, simple, powerful Sanskrit mantras? Do you enjoy singing with others? Do you want to explore the comprehensive benefits of chanting? Do you need time and space to rest/heal/restore/explore/be in community? Through toning and chanting these time tested sonic vibrational sounds along with our collective energy of joy and loving kindness, we will "follow the OM" all the way home to our inner Sacred Center where there is true peace. We will lead some songs from Kirtan artists Krishna Das, Girish, Sam Garrett, Shantala, David Newman and others as well as a few originals.
Suggested donation $10-$20, but all are welcome regardless of ability to pay.
Tea, Back jacks, bolsters, chairs will be available for you to choose from. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat, blanket, whatever makes you cozy. Come ready to sing and connect.
Doors open at 6:00 for tea and conversation, singing starts at 6:30 and we finish around 8 PM. If you would like to bring a refreshment to share, feel free to do so.
Last minute drop-ins are welcomed as well. There is always room for one more!
