Join the King's Counterpoint Chamber Ensemble VOX REGISas we present a concert of choral masterpieces of the Spanish Renaissance in observance of All Souls.
Along with stunning works by Cristóbal de Morales, Francisco Guerrero, Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla, and Alonso Lobo, our program will feature selections from the incredible "Officium Defunctorum," composed by Tomás Luis de Victoria in 1605. This six-voice setting of the Requiem Mass is considered a true masterpiece of the late Renaissance and a breathtaking example of Spanish polyphony.
