Sacred Medicine Ceremony

Invitation:

A sacred medicine ceremony to meet the master plant teachers of Tobacco and Cacao. These potent plant medicines weave the energies of sacred union. Tobacco anchoring in the divine masculine and Cacao opening to the divine feminine. The intention is to create inner union and harmony, tasting our divine wholeness through the totality of these energies.

The plants are our ancient teachers, the whispers of our ancestors. Their wisdom brings us back into wholeness, offering us guidance for our healing journey. They take us beyond the cognitive, linear mind and into the subtle realms of spirit. Through symbol, channeling and shamanic journey we receive their medicine.

What to expect:

The evening will begin with a sacred circle and group cleansing, sharing our intentions and receiving a mapacho (sacred tobacco) cleanse. Followed by an embodied meditation, bringing us into the subtle realms of masculine and feminine energies within ourselves. We shall then meet the medicines, with Amy introducing the Amazonian Hape (smokeless tobacco) from the Yawanawa Tribe in Brazil. She will give insight into the origins, traditional use and teachings of tobacco. And then Demi will introduce the medicine of Cacao, the heart elixir, food of the gods from the Sacred Valley in Peru. Demi will discuss the spirit of the medicine and how to work with cacao as a heart opening medicine.

We will then begin with a sacred serving of Hape, receiving the medicine through a Tepi into the nostrils, this shamanic snuff is a medicine to open the third eye, to cut through distortions and purify the mind and body. We will be anchoring down into our body and letting the masculine medicine of tobacco teach us his wisdom. Followed by a Cacao ceremony with Demi, journeying shamanically into the heart, receiving the wisdom of wholeness, of sacred union from the two medicines creating harmony within.

Closing the space with a sharing circle and integration of the medicines. Both Demi and Amy are experienced in integration of spirit, so we can assist you in understanding the language of the plants and how they’ve spoken to you.

Anyone who feels a deep calling to connect with indigenous earth medicines, to learn the ways of our ancient ancestors and receive the wisdom of the plants. It’s for those who feel intrigued by plant medicines, the ancient ways and the tribal approaches to healing the mind, body, spirit.

About Amy:

I am a dancer and Medicine Woman who is passionate about the human condition and how life expresses through the body. I am a trained Shamanic Practitioner, energy worker, Yoga and Tantra teacher, I work with Sacred Plants to elevate my own inner knowing and boost health as that of my students and clients.

About Demi:

Demi is a shamanic practitioner, medicine woman and feminine embodiment guide. Working with the plant spirits of the indigenous cultures and our native lands, she weaves in the sacred earth medicines with the womb. Creating a ritualistic embodiment of the feminine, connecting us to the subtle realms within the sacral center and the ancient wisdom of the plants.
