Once a week for six weeks. This series will focus on the ancient wisdom presented in The Gita for modern times. The Bhagavad Gita is an essential yogic text. Its teachings are foundational for Patanjali’s work, The Yoga Sutra, but are often ignored in the West. When studying the Gita, it’s important to see it with an open mind and heart as a universal, metaphorical text. It contains ancient wisdom that can be incredibly useful for today's modern life.
We will explore themes such as doing the right thing, seeking contentment, being yourself, and staying positive. Classes include yoga practice and discussions.
