As the September nights grow shorter, we gather once more around Grandfather Fire, a place where stories are shared, hearts open, and community spirit shines.I am Deborah, a Firekeeper in Cheshire.
Welcome to my hearth,
Each month I offer to hold space for our ever-growing community on the beautiful land of Oakmere Alpacas.
you are warmly invited to join us around the fire, where together we can weave the rememberance of our ancient ways, so that every story we tell, every song we sing, becomes a thread that weaves our community tighter, creating a rich tapestry with shared experiences and collective wisdom.
our usual meet is down on the farm every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6.30 - 9.30 pm
A FEW PRACTICAL THINGS :
🔥 I ask kindly for you to arrive on time so that we can open space together to create a safe container... Arrival time is 6pm for a prompt 6.30pm start.
🔥 As expected the fire takes place outdoors so please dress comfortably and accordingly we highly recommend layers. ( even September evenings can get chilly)
🔥 A chair, blanket, or cushion for comfort
🔥 A cup for Tea/coffee refreshments will be provided.
Your contributions help provide the firewood, refreshments, and care needed to keep this cherished tradition burning bright. We suggest a donation of £6, but we understand that everyone’s circumstances are different, please give what you can. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. Contributions of natural firewood are also warmly recieved.
🅿️ There is plenty of space for parking as you enter the farm drive up the lane through the whites gates where you will see a carpark on your left landside with horse boxes.
it is tradition to eat chocolate around the fire so feel free to bring some along to share with everyone.
Lets rekindle the flames of connection together!
Warmly
Deborah
