About this Event
Join us for a heartfelt two-day, hands-on experience in Mindful Food Resilliancy. This workshop invites animal lovers, homesteaders, bodyworkers and anyone curious about anatomy or sustainable living to reconnect with the sacred cycle of life through intentional animal harvesting and shared meals.
Together, we’ll explore the humane art of processing poultry (Saturday) and goats (Sunday) with reverence, gratitude, and respect. Learn essential farm-to-table skills—harvesting, butchering, preservation, and anatomy—while deepening your understanding of conscious food systems and animal stewardship.
On Sunday during the Sacred Goat Slaughter, Kyle, an acupuncturist and martial artist with deep insight into anatomy and somatic integration, will lead us on a fascinating exploration of the goat's anatomy and physiology, sharing how with the exception of a few extra digestive organs, a goats anatomy closely resembles our own.
Each day includes a farm fresh meal and participants will all take home a select cuts of the processed animal.
Come experience the beauty, humility, and nourishment that arise when we honor the life of animals that sustain us.
