✨As we dance, we let go of judgment and try not to think of how we look. Your dance can be slow and soft, or wild and weird. There is no right or wrong. This is a sacred dance with yourself to find what feels good in your body. Tell your story through your dance. Move lovingly and freely. Shake off the old...and make room for the new. Lift your energy and celebrate life with us!
✨Our dance is a prayer- to the earth & for unity.
~Collective Experience~
-We start together in circle, to connect and get to know each other a little bit!
-During our dance, there will be 1 or 2 group dance prompts for moments of connection and unity
-We finish with a little song sharing circle. There is no pressure to sing or use instruments during our song circle, listening is still participating.
-You are welcome as you are!
~More Info~
-Aim to arrive 10-15 minutes early.
-We will start right away in circle and have a quick warm up- with gentle breathwork, body activations and somatic releases.
-The dance is 1 hour long
-The songs are a variety of music that will bring you on a journey of self exploration
-The sound bath is 45 minutes long, we have comfy mats available. Please bring anything else for your comfort.
-If you would like to share a song at the end, we would love that.
~Guide Lines~
-We dance barefoot
-We keep our phones tucked away or step outside to use it
-No photos or videos
-The dance is a talk-free experience (except for when we come together during our group dance prompts)
-Audible noise is welcome! Let it out!
~Suggestions on what to bring~
-water bottle (there will be water available)
-dress comfortably in layers
-yoga mat, blanket, pillow (we have extra mats and blankets)
-instrument if you have one (there are extra rattles and shakers if you don't have an instrument)
-mug or thermos for tea
-eye covering
-journal and pen
-item for the alter
