What is Cacao?
Ceremonial cacao is a high-quality, minimally processed chocolate used in spiritual ceremonies to connect with the universe and inner self. It's made from cacao beans that are fermented, dried, and ground into a paste, but with little to no heat, conching, or additives. Ceremonial cacao is often prepared by shaving the block of chocolate, mixing it with water or plant-based milk, and adding spices, sweeteners, and superfoods. Historically, cacao drinks have been used for a variety of life-affirming ceremonies including births and marriages, this is because of its heart opening affinities.
