What is a Cacao Ceremony?
A Cacao ceremony is a healing ritual that facilitates interpersonal communication and connectedness. Cacao is raw bean that chocolate is made of. This potent bean has the properties that can expand your perspective, enabling you to recognize and release patterns or habits that no longer serve, while calling in what does.
Here you will get connected to the five elements while moving through the rhythm of the five elements, EARTH WATER FIRE AIR AND EATHER. You will meet new people, move around to good music, a bit of eye-to-eye, and self-expression.
This new moon, we will dance in the spirit of releasing the old WELCOMING the new.
The primary focus is NEW BEGINNING— Let’s MOVE AND DANCE WITH INTENTION AND CONNECTION! THE THEME THIS NEW MOON IS THE ARCHETYPE OF THE NOVICE WHO BEGINS AGAIN STARTING ANEW AS A STUDENT EXPLORING WHAT IT MEANS TO MOVE THROUGH DISILLUSIONMENT INTO NOVICE CURIOSITY AND RECEPTIVITY OF OUR BECOMING.
There is a limited space; I need to know how much cacao to make so please please please sign up early. This will help us assure the abundance of cacao. Maximum space each ceremony is 17 pax

THINGS TO BRING :
* Filled Water bottle
* Comfortable clothes that you can move around easily (optional change of clothes incase you get sweaty)
* Unconditional curiosity, presence, and intention
* Empty Stomach (You can eat a light meal two hours before the ceremony - don’t have a heavy lunch). Please do not come hungover from drinking alcohol the night before. Be mindful of hydration because cacao is very heating and drying. Try to have juice instead of coffee that morning.

About the Facilitator:
Gabriela Moriarty is one of the founding poets who helped to plant and nurture the Spoken Word Poetry seed in Bangkok since we first began organizing 7 years ago with Bangkok Lyrical Lunacy. She is currently studying Clinical Art Therapy at IPATT. She is a mental heath activist using art, movement, and poetry with her art show This Matters: Mind the Unseen Heart. She feels the deepest calling to share her practice of meditative dance using cacao plant medicine as a tool to open the heart space and connect to our inner WOWER, SIRI WAHE GURU!! She learned the arts of cacao ceremony with Daisy Kaye in Koh Phangan. Now she is bringing it to Bangkok to plant the seed of conscious movement and meditation ceremony for the community here.

* ท้องว่าง (คุณสามารถรับประทานอาหารเบา ๆ ก่อนพิธีได้ 2 ชั่วโมง - อย่ารับประทานอาหารกลางวันมื้อหนัก) โปรดอย่าเมาค้างจากการดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ในคืนก่อน ลองดื่มน้ำผลไม้แทนกาแฟในเช้าวันนั้น
