About this Event
The County of Sacramento’s Departments of Finance, Environmental Management, and Regional Parks invite you to participate in an upcoming public information sharing session to learn about proposed regulations for sidewalk vending in the unincorporated areas of Sacramento County. The purpose of the information sharing session is to provide an overview of proposed regulations that will be presented to the Board of Supervisors for consideration on January 28, 2025.
Proposed Regulations: The regulations to be discussed include amendments in the following titles of the Sacramento County Code:
· Title 4, Business Regulation, to address the time, place and manner of sidewalk vending operations
· Title 6, Health and Sanitation, to address compact mobile food facility operations
· Title 9, Public Peace, Morals and Safety, to address sidewalk vendors, selling and advertising, and concessions in County Parks.
Should the Board approve these regulations at their first reading on January 28, 2025, a second reading is expected to occur on February 4, 2025, with regulations becoming effective on March 7, 2025.
