As we close out our Sacrament Series, we are excited to invite you for a talk on our final Sacrament: The Anointing of the Sick. While this Sacrament is often misunderstood as being available only to those near death, it may be administered to any who have experienced the onset of a serious medical injury, illness, or old age. Whereas those who receive the Sacrament of Marriage receive grace for the married state, those who receive the Anointing of the Sick receive grace for the state which they enter through illness. We are pleased to have as our final speaker in this series Fr. James Wallce, pastor of St. Paul of the Cross parish in Park Ridge. As usual, doors will open at 7pm with the talk beginning at approximately 7:30. Light refreshments will be provided. Hope to see you there!About YAM: The Young Adult Ministry(YAM) at St. Alphonsus serves adults in their 20s and 30s striving to grow in their Catholic faith.
