Sacramento County Economic Development Strategic Plan Update: Community Meeting
Join the Office of Economic Development and HR&A Advisors for one of three community meetings being held to engage Sacramento County residents and businesses in the County's updated Economic Development Strategic Plan. This interactive event is an opportunity to participate in the process and provide insights to a shared vision that will guide economic development at Sacramento County.
Each community meeting will cover the same topics.
Background:
The Sacramento County organization, community and economy has undergone significant change since the last Economic Development Strategic Plan. With this transition comes an opportunity to renew the organization’s vision, build on the work already accomplished or underway, and create a new strategic direction. An updated strategic plan will provide the framework for prioritizing investments and allocating resources to support equitable economic growth and job creation in Sacramento County. Objectives:
- Hear directly from economic development stakeholders in Sacramento County including residents, business owners, and those from unincoporated Sacramento County, and about economic development priorities.
- Craft a shared vision that reflects collective goals for economic development in Sacramento County.
- Inform strategy development by using insights gained to help shape an inclusive economic development strategy.
Who should attend:
This strategic plan will focus on the unincorporated County, but this event is open to the public and anyone who resides in Sacramento County, works in Sacramento County, and does business in Sacramento County is encouraged to attend. Your input is critical to ensure that the updated strategy reflects the shared vision of Sacramento County's diverse community.
