About this Event
Students will learn about the significance of the indigenous foods of Mexico.
Focusing the three Milpa ingredients of Corn, Beans and Squash, students will prepare three recipes: a vegetable base caldo (broth) Tlalpeno style, calabacitas, and make a corn and bean salsa.
The class will end with a tasting of all three prepared dishes.
