Join us for SABAH’s 2024 Starlight Night Auction and Gala, as we gather for one more enchanting summer evening under the “stars’ of the Buffalo Convention Center on Friday, November 15, 2024. This year’s event, Starry Nights and Fancy Flights, will transport you to a summer evening filled with breezy cocktails, craft beer, country music, and a delectable barbeque dinner — all in support of SABAH athletes challenged by disability.Back by popular demand, we will savor the summer sounds of Western New York’s top country band, the Hazzard County Band! We are also thrilled to announce the return of the 42 North Tap Trekker, so that we can, once again, enjoy sampling an array of artisan ales and lagers that will delight every craft beer enthusiast. The night will also feature a moonlit stroll through a trail of unique raffle baskets and a variety of outdoor games. New this year, the cocktail hour will keep you in deep suspense with a Reverse Raffle (limited to just 200 tickets) for a grand prize that includes a Picnic by the Sea Tablescape, exquisitely designed and created by the talented duo of Michelle Vaughters and Diana Papa, and a beach vacation in Florida!
After enjoying the energy of the cocktail hour, guests will move to the dining area for a thrilling Live Auction and the announcement of SABAH’s 2024 Hall of Fame Inductee. Following the short program hosted by WGRZ’s Pete Gallivan, we will be treated to an exquisite gourmet barbeque dinner, meticulously curated by Chef Landseadel of the Buffalo Convention Center. The evening will conclude, as any summer night should, with ice cream directly from the LuGia’s on Wheels ice cream truck and dancing under the stars.
