The CAC & Fort Leavenworth SHARP Program hosts an evening remembrance walk on Thursday, 10 April 2025 from 1800-1900 (CT). (a) This event is open to anyone in the Fort Leavenworth area who wants to show support. It will be the first of its kind on Fort Leavenworth for SAAPM. Individuals that have experienced and/or know someone that has been affected by sexual assault are encouraged to participate in the candle lighting and float launch on Merritt Lake.
(b) This event will start at the Post Parade Field for opening remarks and then proceed to Zais Park, and then to Merritt Lake and then return to the Parade Field.
(c) This event will be family friendly and is open Service Members, Family members, DoD Civilians, contractors and community partners.
