About this Event
Join us for an engaging evening at SA Insights, where we will delve into the world of disruptive femtech innovations emerging from Adelaide.
This event will feature a fireside chat with a panel of pioneering leaders who are revolutionising women's health through cutting-edge technologies:
- Susan Evans, CEO, Alyra Biotech
Alyra Biotech is an Australian biopharma company innovating in neuroimmune pain in women. They are developing an intrauterine device (IUD) that delivers a novel, non-opioid therapeutic, offering new hope for women suffering from chronic pain.
- Michelle Perugini, CEO, Presagen
Presagen is a global leader in AI healthcare, focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to transform women's health and improve patient outcomes. Their flagship product, Life Whisperer, offers AI embryo viability and genetics assessment tools to improve IVF success rates, making treatments more affordable and accessible globally, and is already in use in IVF clinics around the world.
- Louise Hull, Lead, Imagendo, The University of Adelaide
Imagendo aims to reduce the diagnostic delay of endometriosis, a condition affecting 1 in 9 Australian women, by using AI to combine pelvic scans and MRI, potentially eliminating the need for invasive laparoscopic surgery and significantly speeding up diagnosis.
We are pleased to bring a new host to our SA Insights, Stephen Blakeney, National Innovations Manager from the Medical Device Partnering Program (mdpp.org.au) (MDPP) at Flinders University.
