The Sierra Club is teaming up with Groundwork Jacksonville to maintain the southern segment of the S-Line. We're hosting regular joint clean-up to take care of the trail a 1/2 mile at a time.
The point person is Mr. Bill Armstrong. He is authorized to sign for youth community service hours as well.
We will provide trash grabbers, bags, and sanitary wipes. You will be required to sign a City of Jacksonville liability waiver.
Please bring: water, gloves (I will supply some if you don't have any), face mask. Please wear your face mask.
DIRECTIONS: Meet and park at the Emmett Reed Community Center, 1093 W 6th St, Jacksonville, FL 32209.
Take I-95 north through Jax. Exit at 8th Street (Exit 353D). Turn left on 8th ST. Turn left on Payne St., then left on W. 6th St.
Park in back of the building near the playground.
