Le documentaire LILIANA de Ruggero Gabbai retrace l’histoire poignante de Liliana Segre, sénatrice à vie italienne et survivante de l’Holocauste. À travers ce film, Gabbai nous invite à suivre le témoignage de Segre, en explorant son parcours dramatique, depuis son arrestation, sa déportation à Auschwitz, jusqu’à son ultime adieu à son père, qu’elle n’a jamais revu. Ce récit est un mélange de mémoire historique et de regard contemporain sur une femme qui, malgré ses souffrances, incarne une figure essentielle dans le paysage culturel et politique italien.
