EXCITING NEWS!!!!!! We’ve got a special, not done this sort of dance afternoon before, dance!!!! And we’d love you to join us.
Cruising with SS Sweetp is a Sunday afternoon of dancing, music and stories from the golden age of Rock’n’Roll.
We’re bringing some cruise-ship fun to the Polish Club, Ashfield. The afternoon will start with dancing with our DJ, before we welcome a special guest: Dave Bloom, an acclaimed music historian. He’ll transport you back to the 1950s with stories and music of the legends that shaped Rock’n’Roll.
This isn’t a sit-and-listen afternoon — this is a dance afternoon with some fabulous stories about an era we love…. we’ll be dancing before, during, and plenty of dancing after as well.
The Polish Club will have the bar open for us!
And they’ll be best dressed prize/s!
So whether you love to dance Rock’n’Roll, a die-hard Elvis, Chuck, Buddy, Bill, Jerry or Little Richard fan, or just interested to know more about this wonderful era we love, come along dressed for the occasion… this should be a fun afternoon.
