Sujata Dharap

Renowned visual artist Sujata Dharap, based in Pune, brings decades of artistic practice spanning painting, murals, and art education. Trained at Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, with specialisation in murals, her work has been exhibited widely in India and internationally. She has created over 220 murals across India and abroad and has been deeply engaged in art education for nearly four decades.

For this event, Sujata Dharap will create live, spontaneous paintings in dialogue with violin music. Responding intuitively to the mood and essence of the melodies, she will paint abstract visual interpretations inspired by the music. Two distinct artworks will emerge in real time, each reflecting the emotional landscape of two different ragas, offering the audience a rare experience of seeing music transform into visual form
