Welcome to the Rock Your Humanity book club! During Q2, we'll read & discuss 3 leadership books on emotional intelligence.
About this Event

Welcome to the Rock Your Humanity Book Club!

During 2025, we'll grow our leadership skills through reading and studying books with the lens of intersecting emotional intelligence and artificial intelligence, during a time of growth and integration of these complex and critical elements transforming the workplace. Our conversations will be timely to study content and to connect leaders with one another through dialogue during this evolutionary time. We get to write the script on how this unfolds in our lives.

The structure will be a weekly Zoom meet up for 1-hour to discuss the content of each book and talk through how you can bring back new perspective to your lives, specifically how this informs how you show up in the workplace. Rock Your Humanity Book Club meets on Tuesdays at 7:00-8:00pm CST on Zoom.

We will read and discuss one book per month. During Q2 of 2025, we will study Emotionally Intelligent Leadership in a 3-book series. This will feature books on emotional intelligence by leaders in this field.

Here's the curated book list we'll study during "Emotionally Intelligent Leadership":

  1. Speak Peace in a World of Conflict: What You Say Next Will Change Your World by Marshall B. Roseberg.
  2. Spinning Threads of Radical Aliveness by Miki Kashtan (partial book study)
  3. Optimal by Daniel Goleman and Cary Cherniss

Your moderator for this book club will be Natalie Gille, Leadership Coach for Rock Your Humanity LLC, and avid reader of books on leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, gender equity and on occasion, science fiction.

Members of the book club will source their own books. This can be based on personal preference about how you like to consume content, which also comes with price variations depending upon your prefered source.

I'm delighted to host this book club and look forward to what we will accomplish together in 2025!

With gratitude,
Natalie Gille, Rock Your Humanity LLC
