Event 1
Axle & Deadlift for Max
1 athlete takes on the axle, other takes on the deadlift. Rising bar format, heaviest combined lift total wins.
Opening Weights
Women's B - Axle 25kg, Deadlift 60kg
Men's B - Axle 40kg, Deadlift 120kg
Women's A - Axle 35kg, Deadlift 90kg
Men's A - Axle 50kg, Deadlift 160kg
Mixed Team weights correspond - Points awarded for advancing to next round.
Event 2
Load, Pull, Push Medley
3x Sandbags will be carried 15m and loaded by one team member into the back of a vehicle. Other team member will then arm over arm pull the vehicle back before both team members work together to push the vehicle back to the start position. Fastest time wins.
Sandbag weights
Women's B - 30kg, 30kg, 40kg
Men's B - 50kg, 60kg, 75kg
Women's A - 40kg, 50kg, 60kg
Men's A - 75kg, 90kg, 100kg

Tandem Conan's
Both team members work together to carry the Conan's wheel for max distance.

Sandbag Toss

Women's B - 4kg, 6kg, 8kg, 8kg, 10kg, 10kg (3m)
Men's B - 6kg, 8kg, 8kg, 10kg, 12kg, 15kg (3.5m)
Women's A - 6kg, 8kg, 8kg, 10kg, 12kg, 15kg (3.5m)
Men's A - 12kg, 15kg, 18kg, 20kg, 22kg, 25kg (3.5m)
Team members will have to throw 6 Sandbags over a 3m or 4m bar back and forth to each other until all bags have been completed twice.
Mixed B - 4kg, 8kg, 6kg, 10kg, 8kg, 12kg, 10kg, 15kg (3m)
Mixed A - 6kg, 15kg, 8kg, 18kg, 10kg, 20kg, 12kg, 22kg (3.5m)
Mixed team will have athletes complete alternate sandbags (minimum 2 failed attempts before a partner can be tagged back in to complete a throw)
