About this Event
If you have not heard about Rye Whiskey you are missing out on one of the oldest whiskey expressions in the United States. Prior to Prohibition it was the number one selling product. The Rye Whiskey 203 is a class about a compilation of rye Whiskeys from seven different Geographic Regions throughout North America. Where the vast majority of rye whiskey in the world is produced.
You will learn about three distinct styles of Rye Whiskey and what make them different;
- Maryland Style Rye Whiskeys
- The Monongahela Style Rye Whiskeys
- Kentucky Style Rye Whiskeys.
While learning the background and stories about the Rye Whiskies from these areas you will also be sampling some of the expressions. A total of nine samples will be supplied.
