An online meet-up for graphic designers, illustrators, digital designers, product designers, and photographers in a friendly, chilled space.
About this Event

Calling all graphic designers, illustrators, digital designers, product designers, textile designers, photographers, filmmakers, and other creatives!

What: Join us online for a casual meet-up to support our current and new creative community members. Discuss design, WFH, exchange ideas or current briefs, and meet people to collaborate with all from the safety of your own home. There will even be a chance for you to take the floor and share your project with the entire group.

This month, we will be hearing from a panel of brilliant photographers living and working in South London. Find out a bit about their work, their process and some tips on photography.

John Iona

I'm a photographer based in Peckham. My work mainly covers street and social documentary, portraits and events.

John Yabrifa

John has over a decade of experience in the photography industry, having worked on a number of projects in a wide number of genres, including wedding, commercial and advertising. Always a strong supporter and believer in the community and local engagement, in recent years, John has changed his focus to be more involved in community and small business lead projects than larger commercially driven ventures and has made connections in London and well as communities in South Wales, Lake District and Yorkshire

John's true passion for photography lies in photographing landscapes. Away from commercial work, John is constantly working on multiple personal projects and is currently represented by ECAD gallery here in London.

Matthew Pull

Matt is a photographer born in London. After studying graphic design he's worked freelance in the photography industry for 10 years as an assistant, a retoucher and a photographer.

Keith van Loen

My passion for photography came in a breakthrough moment when I first saw an image emerge in a darkroom. In the time it took to develop a print I had decided to leave my job and become a photographer.

My business took off as I worked for a variety of clients from B2B and B2C editorial magazines to advertorial and advertising, centred around portraits and people.

With the global economic crash in 2009 I grasped the opportunity to evaluate my style and direction and, with camera in hand, backpacked around the world for 12 months.

This life-affirming journey re-energised my passion and deepened my core values. I felt drawn to landscapes, people and urban environments and a life-long interest in Architecture was ignited. Being in an architect’s office or interior designer’s studio gives me an opportunity to understand their vision and design philosophy.

Last year, just prior to lockdown I was lucky enough to have an exhibition of my work on Modernist architecture at the library in the Barbican. A body of images I had been working on for 3 years. I hopeful it gets another airing this year.
