Supported by Ryde Town Council & Ryde Business Association, Friends of Ryde Town Hall are hosting their second Litter Pick to mark 'Ryde Town Hall Day' which celebrates the laying of the first Town Hall foundation stone in May 1830. In this month each year residents are invited to do something positive for Ryde.Meet at 11am on Sunday 19 May outside Ryde Town Hall & Theatre on Lind Street (PO33 2NL).
A list of areas in the town centre in need of a litter pick will be available and safety measures will also be outlined. If you can please bring bin bags and litter pickers but some will be provided on the day courtesy of Ryde Town Council, Ryde Library and Ryde Co op. We recommend gardening gloves and a sturdy pair of shoes.
Ryde Town Council has kindly agreed to collect our rubbish bags from outside the Town Hall at 1.15pm.
