Ryan Patrick from the award-winning band Luma Knotty brings his original blend of guitar-driven funk, rock, and reggae to 812 Lounge (the former Union Jack's) on Thursday, August 14th.Hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, Luma Knotty continues to evolve while honoring its diverse musical roots. Founded in 2017 by guitarist and lead singer Ryan Patrick, the band fuses Ryan’s background in blues and funk rock with formal training from McNally Smith College of Music and years of experience in roots reggae.
Luma Knotty is a two-time Wisconsin Area Music Award winner (2019, 2024) in the World category and the recipient of the 2025 Bay Area Music Award in the Latin/World/Reggae/Ska category. In September 2024, the band released their third album, Favorite Dream, available on all major music platforms.
