Acclaimed pianist/composer Ryan Cohan will be delivering a WORLD PREMIERE of his new work, Prism, with a group he calls Two Quartets: a combination of a jazz quartet and a string quartet.
Prism explores the beauty of contrast, drawing on world music traditions, classical and impressionistic forms, and the improvisational freedom of modern jazz. This powerful work celebrates diversity and coexistence, inviting listeners to experience music as a prism of light—where differences don’t divide, but illuminate.
