Volunteer to help the 2024 World Championship races run smoothly. We need help with main gate, mid gate, VIP gate and break down. Most shifts will be Wednesday Nov 06, Friday Nov 08 and Sunday Nov 10 from 8 am - Noon and Noon - 4 pm. There is also shifts for set up on Tuesday, Nov 05 afternoon and Wednesday morning as well as breakdown on Sunday afternoon. Positions include:
Set Up (Tuesday only): Assisting with moving tables, chairs, placing table cloths, setting up décor, signage
Entrance Gate: Checking to ensure all guests have the proper credentials to enter, watching for prohibited items and intervening with guest, brand ambassadors
Mid Gate: Ensuring only pedestrians access, watching for prohibited items & reporting to enforcement, answering questions, brand ambassadors
VIP Gate: First shift assisting with reset (up righting chairs, tidying area), ensuring all guests have the proper credentials to enter, watching for prohibited items, interacting with guests, brand ambassadors, 2nd shift assisting with shut down procedures (laying down chairs, weatherproofing as needed)
Tear Down in VIP (Sunday only): Taking down and stacking chairs into trailers, removing tablecloths, stacking tables, taking down banners & decor, consolidating other furniture, plants, etc.
