A little history lesson...
Back in 1973, the legendary Barbara Ludwig—eccentric, visionary, and all-around badass—decided the Kinetic Race needed a monarch and dubbed herself Rutabaga Queen. Since then, the Rutabaga Ball has become a sacred (and sparkly) tradition. It’s a celebration of creativity, community, and having as much FUN as possible. The Rutabaga Queens are an independent, glitter-powered cabal of performing artists and weirdos who continue to carry the torch.
Kinetic Universe is honored to support this spectacle as an official fundraiser for the Kinetic Grand Championship and will keep this tradition alive… so long as it pleases the Queens. 😘
