Rusty Rails is a group of 5 musicians, 4 of whom hail from RI and a 5th an import from Nevada. Featuring two RIBA Hall of Fame recipients and all having a vast past experience in playing a variety of genres, Rusty Rails has 3 and 4 part vocal harmony, typical Bluegrass instrumentation and a wide range of non-bluegrass songs that we’ve “Grassified”. But holding true to our Bluegrass forbears we have a good selection of the Bluegrass chestnuts that brings the new listener to this music.
