**Russian Baths is a New York band in the tradition of Television, Sonic Youth and Blonde Redhead nurtured by the same scene as Bambara, Water from Your Eyes and the Wants.
They’re named after the iconic co-owned bathhouse that itself reflects the dark and light histories of the city.
Russian Baths write cryptic, melodic post punk punctuated by noise and eerie soundscapes. Their first album, "Deepfake," was released in November 2019. "Split" is the first single from their forthcoming second album, Mirror, to be released later this year.
