About this Event
This is a drop-in event, no registration is required.
A the launch event, you'll be able to:
- Learn about the Draft Plan
- ask questions of City of Vancouver staff
- enjoy refreshments (including Johnny’s Pops from 12:00 – 1:30pm)
- participate in an ivy weaving workshop or stewardship session led by Still Moon Arts.
- Enjoy giant puppets, stilt walkers and other activities.
The City of Vancouver’s Draft Rupert and Renfrew Station Area Plan focuses land use changes around the Station Areas at Rupert and Renfrew SkyTrain stations and in two neighbourhood Villages (Renfrew St and 1st Ave, and 22nd Avenue between Rupert St. And Renfrew St.), while preserving the Employment Lands and protecting Still Creek.
Can’t make it that day? There will 3 follow-up open houses where you can learn about the Draft Plan, ask questions of City staff, enjoy refreshments and participate in an art activity led by Still Moon Arts. More info about the open houses on the City's website .
