The “Runway in Paradise” Adaptive Fashion Show at the Chandler Center for the Arts is on Saturday, September 20, 2025. This award-winning one-of-a-kind event is hosted by the City of Mesa and the City of Chandler Adaptive Recreation programs in partnership with Arizona Disabled Sports. This fun event will feature over 50 models with developmental disabilities who will strut down the runway with confidence showing off their tropical glam.
The Fashion Show promotes disability awareness through a unique and fun atmosphere while our models build self-esteem and take center stage. Children, teens, and adults will participate in a six-week workshop series that focuses on positivity, goal setting, teaching social graces and preparing to walk the runway! These models inevitably will leave a lasting impression on the hearts of all those who attend. The event day includes the show, and an optional lunch and raffle.
