Ict Dachshunds is a local non-profit foundation. This is the LARGEST Dachshund Race in Kansas 🏁
It is a double elimination race. We have a merchandise booth, photo booth, raffles, silent auction and will be giving away prizes throughout the race as well.
It is free to spectators. Pre-registration is open and will save you a little money. of you register day of race the fee is $5 more.
We have a Dachshund costume contest that takes place before the race, so whether it is store bought or home-made bring them out and ready to win that prize package for best costume.
In person registration is from 11am - 12:45 pm. The races start at 1 pm. All dogs are guaranteed 2 races at minimum. The races do last about 2 hours from start to finish so bring lawn chairs and plan to spend the afternoon with us.
Our event is held at the annual ICT Bloktoberfest in Wichita, KS. There are a ton of food trucks, booze vendors, vendors market and lots of other events at the festival.
It is family friendly so all ages are welcome.
