Join us for a spectacular morning trailblazing in the country surrounded by wide open plains, cliff faces along the river, forests & fields followed by an ice-cold, well deserved complimentary craft beer at the finish line. Join us afterwards at the chill zone or local restaurant for a great runner’s breakfast. It really is a majestic venue located on the banks of the Crocodile River & right on your door-step. It’s a privately-owned game reserve so you get to explore over 1000-hectares of wilderness whilst running amidst some truly majestic wildlife. The team are often carving out new and varied trails on this landscape so GPX files will be sent closer to the time.
Entry Includes : Finisher Medal (a branded glass at the finish line including the first fill complimentary, which includes either a Black Horse Golden Lager OR a Ginger Berry Beer after the trail), chill zone with live music, fully stocked water-points, exclusive access to well-marked trails, trail fees, game rangers on route, medical support, restaurant on-site and a true Wild African Experience!
As there are no extreme climbs or immensely difficult terrain, Wild Africa Experiences have rated the route a 3/5 (5 being the most difficult). We cater for all fitness levels from 6km to 20km routes so it's a great way to kick off the new year & stretch those legs! Walkers / hikers are more than welcome to join us on 6km & 10km routes.
