About this Event

Greg Borzo’s Chicago’s Fabulous Fountains reveals the hidden history and cultural context of hundreds of the diverse, artistic, architecturally important outdoor fountains across the Windy City. On this 6-mile run through Lincoln Park and Old Town, we’ll have the privilege of hearing about 14 of these fountains directly from author Greg Borzo, followed by a post-run Q&A with Greg and the opportunity to purchase a discounted copy of Fountains.

All paces, backgrounds, and experiences are welcome! All registered participants will receive more details and reminders 48 and 4 hours prior to the event. This event is a running tour; you are not required to read the book ahead of time. Runners will be able to purchase the book at the end of the run.

MEET UP: Meet at the Children’s Fountain (Corner of Clark & North) at 6pm on Wednesday, June 21.

ROUTE: We’ll run an easy-paced, 6-mile route through Lincoln Park and Old Town visiting 14 fountains. If you prefer to bike this route, please email Allison at [email protected]
